Healthcare analytics company Cotiviti has named Erin Schmuker COO.
Ms. Schmuker joins Cotiviti from Optum, where she most recently served as president of integrated pharmacies at OptumRx, according to a Sept. 14 news release. She previously served as managing director of Optum Ireland and UK.
In her new role, Ms. Schmuker will lead Cotiviti’s enterprise operations, focusing on scaling the company’s operating model, strengthening execution and accountability, and driving operational excellence as the business grows. She will also work to translate the company’s investments in technology and AI into measurable outcomes for clients.
Cotiviti works with more than 200 healthcare organizations, including all 25 of the largest U.S. health plans, with its customers collectively covering more than 300 million members and patients, according to the release.
