Cigna names chief medical officer 

Cigna Healthcare, has named Amy Flaster, MD, as its chief medical officer.

Dr. Flaster will lead Cigna’s clinical organization and work to improve customer experience and health outcomes, according to a Jan. 23 news release.

She is a practicing physician at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and serves on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. Most recently, she was CMO at home-care provider ConcertoCare.
