Writer and former first daughter Chelsea Clinton will no longer serve on Clover Health’s board, according to an Oct. 31 news release.

According to the company, Ms. Clinton was the longest-serving board member, having joined in early 2017. Oct. 31 is also her final day as a member.

“It has been a privilege to help guide Clover as it has evolved from a private company with a bold idea to use technology to improve healthcare, into a public company that’s delivering on that promise for more than 100,000 members,” Ms. Clinton said. “I have no doubt that Clover will continue to realize on its central purpose of improving patient care, patient well-being and, ultimately, patients’ lives.”

During her tenure, Ms. Clinton participated in the talent and compensation committee, along with the nominating and corporate governance committee.
