Centene executive to join Froedtert ThedaCare as chief nurse

Froedtert ThedaCare Health, a 20-hospital system based in Menomonee Falls, Wis., has appointed Seraphine Kapsandoy-Jones, PhD, RN, chief nursing executive and senior vice president. 

Dr. Kapsandoy-Jones will join the system June 15 after serving Centene as vice president of population health and clinical operations, according to a May 12 news release from Froedtert ThedaCare. She has been in that role since March 2022, according to her LinkedIn profile

Before Centene, Dr. Kapsandoy-Jones started her nursing career at Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health, where she began as a registered nurse in a trauma and transplant unit in 2002 and served in several leadership roles, including chief clinical information officer. 

Froedtert ThedaCare said in the release that Dr. Kapsandoy-Jones will lead systemwide initiatives to align clinical practices, ensure accountability for nursing excellence, and foster a collaborative and innovative culture.
