BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has named Heidi Yernberg as managing director and chief privacy officer.
Ms. Yernberg previously served as outside counsel to the company on data and privacy issues, and will lead the department focused on protecting member health information, according to a May 3 news release.
Previously, she was a practicing attorney with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and privacy law.
