Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana has hired Rochelle Jones and Michael Carriere II as vice presidents in its benefit operations division, according to The Times-Picayune/The New Orleans Advocate.
Ms. Jones is vice president, benefit operations — customer service. Most recently, she worked at New York City-based MultiPlan, where she led medical reimbursement analysis teams in client, provider and member negotiations, according to the May 29 report.
Mr. Carriere is vice president, benefit operations — enrollment and billing. He worked for Blue Cross from 2000 to 2008, first as a claims and edits supervisor and then as a group accounts manager. He spent the last 13 years at Baton Rouge, La.-based Amedisys as director of revenue recovery.
