Tom Grote, the joint venture’s former CEO, has retired, according to a Jan. 24 news release. Ms. Coley was most recently chief medicare officer for Aetna’s Arizona and mountain markets.
Prior to joining Aetna, Ms. Coley held several market leadership roles at Humana.
Founded in 2017, Banner|Aetna is a joint venture between Aetna and Phoenix-based Banner Health. The insurer offers individual and employer-based insurance.
