Aledade has named Oraida Roman chief commercial officer to lead the company’s strategy for health plan partnerships.
Ms. Roman brings 25 years of healthcare strategy and operations experience to the role, according to an April 15 news release. She most recently served as senior vice president of national provider strategies and operations for Humana.
In her new role, Ms. Roman will lead Aledade’s portfolio of more than 200 value-based care contracts. She will oversee the entire lifecycle of health plan relationships, including business development, contracting, performance management and the strategic expansion of multi-year arrangements across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and commercial lines of business.
“Her ability to foster collaborative, sustainable economic frameworks between health plans and clinical teams will be invaluable,” Aledade co-founder and president Mat Kendall said in the release.
