The list recognizes 50 employers that show leadership and innovation with employee engagement, which includes how employees connect with the company and its customers.

The annual list evaluated companies across eight categories: purpose and leadership; manager empowerment; belonging, equity and inclusion; recognition and rewards; professional and personal growth; accountability and performance; culture alignment; and wellbeing.

Four payers named:

  • Blue Shield of California
  • CVS Health
  • Horizon BCBS New Jersey
  • WPS Health Solutions

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
