California health plan taps new CFO

Christopher Lee was named CFO of Gold Coast Health Plan in Camarillo, Calif. on Aug. 24, according to an Aug. 27 news release.

GCHP serves about 220,000 Medi-Cal members in Ventura County, Calif., through its network of hospitals, specialists, behavioral health providers and physicians.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Lee served as CFO of Healthcare In Action, a Southern California community health organization that serves people experiencing homelessness.

He also served as vice president of financial planning and analysis for SCAN Health Plan, where he helped oversee a $5.2 billion budget and supported the plan’s Medicare bid process.
