Mario Schlosser, Oscar Health’s co-founder and chief technology officer, has transitioned to serve as an advisor to CEO Mark Bertolini.
Oscar and Mr. Schlosser entered the revised agreement May 29, effective June 1, according to a company filing. In the new role, he will focus on artificial intelligence and digital health. He will continue to be on the board of directors.
Mr. Schlosser’s annual base salary will be $370,000, versus the $600,000 he received as president of technology and chief technology officer. Beginning this year, Mr. Schlosser is ineligible for an annual bonus, and he can no longer receive long-term incentive or equity-based compensatory awards. However, he can continue to vest previous equity awards. He also loses access to cash severance payments and company-subsidized healthcare coverage if terminated. Mr. Schlosser followed Oscar Insurance President Janet Liang as the second-highest earning Oscar executive in 2025, driven by steep stock awards.
Mr. Bertolini succeeded Mr. Schlosser as CEO in 2023.
