May Vang, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota’s treasury vice president and chief investment officer, is leaving her position, the company confirmed to Becker’s April 23.

The insurer said she is departing April 24 “to pursue new opportunities.” CFO John Uribe will act as interim treasurer as the payer searches for a permanent replacement.

Ms. Vang has served in various treasury positions at the organization over the years, according to her LinkedIn page. After a stint at American Family Insurance, she returned to BCBS Minnesota as chief investment officer in 2022.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
