BCBS Louisiana President and CEO Bryan Camerlinck is set to retire at the end of the year, according to a Feb. 10 news release from the insurer.

Mr. Camerlinck has spent a decade as an executive leader — previously holding CFO and COO titles — at BCBS Louisiana before becoming CEO in 2024. He was appointed three months after a failed sale to Elevance Health.

Under his leadership, BCBS Louisiana rebranded to Louisiana Blue, launched the digital member engagement experience MyLABlue and invested in Epic.

“I am incredibly proud of the progress our team has made — strengthening our commitment to Louisiana, improving the experience for our customers and navigating significant industry challenges,” Mr. Camerlinck said in the release.

In total, Mr. Camerlinck has spent 33 years working at BCBS businesses, including more than 20 years at BCBS Kansas City.

The organization will consider both internal and external candidates to serve as Mr. Camerlinck’s successor.
