Premera Blue Cross named Rajat Puri as COO, according to a Dec. 4 news release.
Mr. Puri will focus on managing the insurer’s technology and operations teams to improve member experience across customer service, billing, claims processing, information technology and digital solutions.
“Rajat brings with him a strong point of view on how the right mix of operational process and technology can be leveraged at scale to advance the member and provider healthcare experience,” Premera Blue Cross CEO and President Jeffrey Roe said.
Mr. Puri joins Premera Blue Cross from his role as president of Carelon Global Solutions, a subsidiary of Elevance Health.
