Alignment Healthcare has named Matt Eyles as executive vice president of government and business strategy, effective Sept. 29.
In the newly created position, Mr. Eyles will focus on the Medicare Advantage company’s engagement and leadership in healthcare policy at federal and state levels, lead business planning to anticipate changes in the healthcare environment to drive growth, and develop new initiatives and partnerships aligned with enterprise priorities.
He previously served as president and CEO of the insurance industry’s trade association, AHIP. He has also held executive roles at Avalere Health, Coventry Health Care/Aetna and Wyeth/Pfizer.
