Former CVS Health CFO joins Aledade board

Former CVS Health CFO Shawn Guertin has joined the board of directors for Aledade, the largest network of accountable independent primary care practices in the U.S. 

Mr. Guertin served as CVS Health’s executive vice president and CFO from 2021 until stepping down from the role in 2024. He previously served as executive vice president, CFO and chief enterprise risk officer at Aetna. 

“Aledade has proven its ability to meaningfully improve primary care and patient outcomes through value-based care transformation,” Mr. Guertin said in an Aug. 28 Aledade news release. “I look forward to supporting Aledade as it continues to grow in financially sustainable ways, driving impact and revolutionizing health care nationwide.”
