Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has named Michelle Stoughton president of its Medicaid plan in Ohio.

In her new role, she will assume responsibility for all aspects of Anthem’s Medicaid health plan operations in Ohio. Starting in 2026, Anthem will be one of four managed care organizations to provide services to those who are dually eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid healthcare coverage under the state’s Next Generation MyCare Ohio program.
