Centene added more than 1.2 million individual members between the fourth quarter of 2024 to the first quarter of 2025, according to a report by Mark Farrah Associates.
The health plan data aggregator published an analysis of individual market enrollment July 10.
Total individual market enrollment reached 26.8 million as of March 31, a record high.
Here are the insurers that saw significant changes in their membership between 2024 and 2025:
1. Centene
Q1 2025 enrollment: 5.66 million
Net change from 2024: 1.23 million
2. Oscar Health
Q1 2025 enrollment: 2.01 million
Net change from 2024: 379,000
3. Elevance Health
Q1 2025 enrollment: 1.82 million
Net change from 2024: 191,000
4. Molina Healthcare
Q1 2025 enrollment: 704,000
Net change from 2024: 190,000
5. Kaiser Foundation
Q1 2025 enrollment: 1.17 million
Net change from 2024: 115,000
6. Health Care Service Corp.
Q1 2025 enrollment: 1.78 million
Net change from 2024: -153,000
7. UnitedHealth Group
Q1 2025 enrollment: 1.95 million
