Humana is launching a collaboration with Epic’s MyChart, allowing members to see health plan details alongside the rest of their medical information.

The partnership is the first of its kind, Humana said in a July 15 news release.

“This integration not only simplifies access to critical plan details but also empowers members to manage their health effectively,” George Renaudin, Humana’s president of insurance, said in the release.

Here are three things to know:

  1. Humana Medicare Advantage members will be able to access information such as deductible and maximum out-of-pocket progress and their digital ID card in MyChart.

  2. Members will be prompted to link their MyChart account to their Humana plan upon logging into a connected system.

  3. More than 3 million Humana members already use MyChart, the company said.
