Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama has named Joe Dunsmore senior vice president and CIO, according to a post on his LinkedIn page.
Mr. Dunsmore has been with the company for 16 years and most recently served as deputy CIO.
Before joining BCBS Alabama, he was vice president of enterprise technology for medical supply company Cardinal Health.
