Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has named Karen Moran as president of commercial markets.
Ms. Moran succeeds Ken Dallafior, who is retiring at the end of 2025, according to an April 2 news release.
BCBS Michigan’s commercial division accounts for 4.1 million of the company’s 5.1 million members, and represents $18 billion in annual revenue.
Ms. Moran was most recently president of Humana Military, the company’s subsidiary serving more than 6 million military members and their dependents. She previously held executive roles at EmblemHealth, ConnectiCare and Aetna.
