The organization released its 2024 career interests survey, highlighting the preferences and attitudes of high-achieving high school students, college students and recent college graduates.

The survey was conducted from Jan. 17 to March 6 and examined responses from 10,000 participants representing across all 50 states and U.S. territories.

Among Gen Z, medical facilities or institutions are the second-most-preferred employers, with large corporations named first and small/family businesses as third.

Noninsurance subsidiaries of large payers were also named, including CVS Caremark (#60) and the Everett Clinic (#78), which is now called Optum Care Washington.
