BCBS Kansas City lists headquarters for sale

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City has listed its current headquarters for sale ahead of a planned move to a new location, the Kansas City Business Journal reported Aug. 15.

A list price for the 6.14 acre site and 201,493-square-foot office building in Kansas City, Mo. was not disclosed, according to the report. 

In Sept. 2022, BlueKC said it planned to lease a new 260,000-square-foot office space in the city, allowing it to consolidate its two existing office spaces into one location.
