Amanda Day, vice president of talent acquisition at the Cigna Group, told HR Brew employees were having an easier time finding open roles at the company on LinkedIn than through Cigna’s previous internal recruiting system.

The company partnered with Phenom, an AI human resources software company, to develop a system that learns more about employees’ job preferences over time. The platform also suggests people current employees can network with and learn from based on their career goals.

Ms. Day told HR Brew the system also helps recruiters sort internal applicants by skill set. Cigna is hiring for 3,000 to 5,000 open roles on any given day, according to the report.
