The payer has announced its intention to reopen its offices several times since the COVID-19 pandemic began, but has called off those plans three times.

According to WLKY, Humana will resume in-person operations in mid March — nearly two years since the company shifted to remote work.

“I think our associates are as excited to see each other in person after two years of Zoom calls, and we know that’s going to have an impact on the downtown [Louisville] economy,” Douglas Edwards, the head of workplace solutions at Humana, told WLKY.
