The mean salary for chief executives at health and medical insurance carriers in 2024 was $392,520, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The BLS published updated 2024 employment data on April 2. The mean wage for all occupations across the health insurance industry was $92,690.

- Dentists: $209,500
- Sales managers: $207,420
- Top executives: $200,270
- Medical and health services managers: $195,490
- Advertising, marketing, promotions, public relations and sales managers: $184,980

- Human resource managers: $184,750
