BCBS, U of Arkansas partner on education discounts for employees

Arkansas BCBS and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock are partnering to offer educational discounts to the payer’s more than 3,200 employees.

The partnership includes a 10 percent discount on tuition and fees, a $25-per-credit-hour book scholarship, and a waived application fee for employees enrolling in undergraduate classes, according to a March 10 news release.

“We are committed to creating an inclusive work environment where employees are engaged in our mission statement,” Maria Silva, talent acquisition partner at BCBS, said.
