Anthem slashes St. Louis office space

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Missouri is downsizing office space in St. Louis, the St. Louis Business Journal reported Dec. 6.

The Elevance Health subsidiary is moving from its 330,000 square foot office of 32 years to a 50,000 square foot office in the city’s downtown. 

According to the report, Anthem employs 1,200 people in St. Louis, many remotely. About 500 employees will move to the new office, which is expected to be completed next year.
