Elevance Health will rate the clinical effectiveness of digital health products through a partnership with the Digital Medicine Society.
Elevance Health will assess clinical outcomes of digital health software through the Digital Medicine Society’s DiMe Seal program, according to a May 15 news release. The program rates digital products based on usability, privacy, security and clinical evidence.
The DiME Seal is designed to designate clinical quality for patient-facing digital health solutions, according to the program’s website.
“To improve health outcomes at scale, it is critical for the digital health industry to move in an evidence-based direction,” Jordan Silberman, MD, PhD, director of clinical analytics and research at Elevance, said.
