The E-Treatment option will be available to members in Cigna’s individual and employer-sponsored plans in most states. Members complete a virtual clinical interview. Physicians then review the information and share a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Customers typically receive a diagnosis within one hour, according to the news release. The service is designed to treat common, low-risk conditions such as allergies, infections and some respiratory illnesses.
