Mr. Shah has a 25-year tenure in managed care IT, most recently leaving AmeriHealth Caritas after seven years, according to the Aug. 31 announcement. He has also held positions at UnitedHealthcare and Alembic Pharmaceuticals.

In his new role, Mr. Shah will be leading initiatives involving population health analytics and information management.
