Seattle-based First Choice Health is launching a new employer plan in Oregon alongside two local partners.
St. Charles Health System and Praxis Health, both based in Bend, Ore., are working with First Choice Health to launch Central Oregon Select, a direct-to-employer solution targeting companies with 50 or more employees, according to a July 7 press release.
Central Oregon Select offers tiered networks, member advocacy services and a value-based approach.
"Our mission is to help members navigate the complex health care system by connecting them with high-quality, affordable care," Jaja Okigwe, First Choice Health CEO and president, said in the announcement. "We believe collaboration between employer groups and health systems is a critical component in our mission to align objectives and deliver long-term value, and this partnership with St. Charles Health System and Praxis Health will do just that for the people of Central Oregon."
The move is part of the insurer's push for direct-to-employer healthcare, which it hosted a national summit on in June.
