The Health and Wellness Clinic is operated by Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System and opened in December. It is overseen by an Inova physician and staffed by a full-time nurse practitioner and medical assistant. Bloomberg foots the annual bill, and employees do not use their health benefits for access.
“The clinic costs us under a half-million dollars a year, but it’s well worth it and made up for in the, frankly, the claims reduction that we see in our health plan,” Christina Correira, chief human resources officer, told WJLA.
