Here are three things to know.
1. Roughly the same number of individuals — 28.6 million — were uninsured in 2015 and 2016, according to 2016 National Health Interview Survey data.
2. This is the first time in five years the uninsured rate has not declined by a significant amount.
3. By contrast, 48.6 million people lacked coverage in 2010.
