The physician practices participated in value-based delivery models for the insurer’s Medicaid plans. UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Florida’s Quality Performance Incentive Program awards physician practices reaching or surpassing Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set targets.
More than 650 primary care practices in Florida are a part of the program, which began in 2015, according to the report. The insurer serves more than 275,000 Medicaid beneficiaries in Florida.
