UnitedHealthcare is launching a new accountable care organization this August in Wisconsin for the 2023 plan year, the Milwaukee Business Journal reported July 21.
NexusACO aims to reduce insurance rates by 8 percent to 13 percent through its new provider network.
The lowest-cost providers in tier 1 will include Milwaukee-based Advocate Aurora Health, Froedtert Health, the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children's Wisconsin.
Out-of-pocket costs are expected to be higher with the other network providers, Ascension Wisconsin in Glendale and ProHealth Care in Pewaukee.
