UnitedHealthcare adds HealthONE to Colorado Doctors Plan

UnitedHealthcare has added Denver-based HealthONE to the provider network of its Colorado Doctors Plan.

Launched in 2018, the Colorado Doctors Plan is an employer-sponsored or individual policy for residents of eight Colorado counties, including the Denver, Boulder and Colorado Springs areas. Original participating providers include Centennial-based Centura Health, its subsidiary Colorado Health Neighborhoods and Golden-basd New West Physicians, according to a July 5 news release.

HealthONE has more than 11,000 caregivers and support staff, 2,700 providers, seven acute care hospitals, nine urgent care centers and 17 ASCs in the Denver area. With its addition, Colorado Doctors Plan members will have access to more than 4,200 providers and 22 hospitals.

The plan offers primary care, urgent care and telehealth visits with no copays and says it has reduced costs by 20 percent compared to a traditional preferred provider organization.
