UnitedHealthcare, 120-facility urgent care chain end dispute

New York City-based urgent care system CityMD inked a new contract to remain in UnitedHealthcare's network, according to Crain's New York Business.

The companies' previous agreement was set to expire at the end of 2018. Without a deal, members with Oxford Health Plans, a subsidiary of UnitedHealthcare, would have faced out-of-network rates to access CityMD facilities and providers.

CityMD has 22 clinics in Manhattan and more than 120 locations across New York, New Jersey and Washington state.
