UnitedHealth Group will move from its headquarters building in Minnetonka, Minn., to Optum's campus in Eden Prairie, Minn., in 2024, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported Sept. 18.
The move is expected to happen in the first half of 2024, according to the report. UnitedHealth Group in March passed on an option to renew its lease at its current HQ building.
The Eden Prairie campus will have a UnitedHealth Group side and an Optum side, according to the report. UnitedHealthcare will continue to be based in Minnetonka.
A spokesperson told the news outlet there will be no meaningful changes to employee count with the move and the company maintains a flexible policy for employees as to where and how work gets done, according to the report.
