UnitedHealth Group issues $5B in senior notes

UnitedHealth Group is offering $5 billion in senior unsecured notes due in 2024, 2026, 2031, 2041 and 2051, according to Moody’s Investors Service.

Purposes of the issuance include the refinancing of commercial paper and debt redemption. As of March 31, the payer had roughly $8.5 billion in outstanding debt.

Fitch Ratings gave the issuance an “A” rating.
