The third-party administrator, led by Select Health, will rebrand as Simplified Benefits Administrators in an expanded partnership between Intermountain and Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth.
The 17,000 members who have plans through UCHealth’s TPA will be transitioned to Select Health, effective immediately.
“We are truly excited about this transition and our ability to serve a larger region and offer a more comprehensive product range to our employers in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, as well as additional states,” Kathy Major, executive director and vice president of UCHealth Plan Administrators, said in a Sept. 26 news release.
On Jan. 1, 2024, Select Health will begin offering Medicare Advantage plans as well as individual and family health insurance plans on the Colorado exchange as part of its partnership with UCHealth.
