Top Medicare Advantage plans for member satisfaction, per J.D. Power

SCAN Health Plan, UPMC and Humana have some of the top-rated Medicare Advantage plans in the country’s largest markets, according to J.D. Power.

Medicare Advantage members surveyed by J.D. Power generally reported high satisfaction with their plans, the organization said in an Aug. 22 press release. 

J.D. Power rated plans on a 1,000-point scale. The average customer satisfaction rating for 2023 was 652. 

Members rated plans highest on trust, ease of doing business and meeting coverage needs. Members had the lowest ratings for finding care and accessing their plans’ digital health tools. 

J.D. Power ranked the top three plans in five markets. Here’s how payers stacked up and their ratings:
