Payers, brokers and other third parties aired more than 10,000 ads for Medicare Advantage plans in Houston from October to December 2022, according to a report from KFF.
The report, published Sept. 20, broke down the nearly 650,000 advertisements aired during the Medicare open enrollment period in 2022. Most ads aired in local media markets, according to KFF.
The top 20 local media markets for ads accounted for around one-quarter of ads aired during the open enrollment, KFF found.
