The 10 UPMC hospitals going out of network with Highmark in 2019

A state-brokered consent decree between Pittsburgh rivals Highmark Health and UPMC expires June 30, 2019. After that date, Highmark Medicare Advantage members will be unable to access several UPMC providers and hospitals at in-network rates.

Here are the 10 hospitals set to leave Highmark’s provider network by July 1, 2019, according to Trib Live:

1. UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital (Pittsburgh)
2. UPMC East (Monroeville, Pa.)
3. UPMC Hamot (Erie, Pa.)
4. UPMC McKeesport (Pa.)
5. UPMC Mercy (Pittsburgh)
6. UPMC Montefiore (Pittsburgh)
7. UPMC Passavant (Cranberry Township, Pa., and Pittsburgh)
8. UPMC Presbyterian (Pittsburgh)
9. UPMC St. Margaret (Pittsburgh)
10. UPMC Shadyside and its UPMC Hillman Cancer Center (Pittsburgh)
