California has the most Medicare Advantage members, while Alaska has the least, according to a February report from CMS.

The report reflects enrollments through Jan. 6. Nationwide, Medicare Advantage enrollment has reached nearly 31.2 million.

States ranked by 2023 MA enrollment:

  2. Florida: 2.7 million
  3. Texas: 2.3 million
  4. New York: 1.9 million
  5. Pennsylvania: 1.5 million
  6. Ohio: 1.3 million
  7. Michigan: 1.2 million

  10. Illinois: 836,000
  11. Tennessee: 724,000
