Salesforce, a customer relationship management company, said the Health Cloud for Payers solution builds on the company’s existing Health Cloud, which launched in 2016. The Health Cloud for Payers solution will include insurance-specific features, such as a data model that integrates a member’s benefits, claims and authorizations information in a single dashboard.
“Managing complex relationships and being able to have a single view of a member is now table stakes for all insurance payers, and those who don’t are at risk of falling behind in this incredibly competitive market,” Rita Sharma, vice president of product management at Salesforce, said in a June 21 company statement.
