UnitedHealthcare members will now receive in-network benefit levels at all of Prime’s California hospitals. Previously, only Alvarado Hospital Medical Center in San Diego, Garden Grove (Calif.) Hospital Medical Center and San Dimas (Calif.) Community Hospital had contracts with the health insurer, according to a news release.
“We strive to provide quality, affordable healthcare to all of the communities we serve, and expanding Prime Healthcare’s partnership with UnitedHealthcare will give their members more options for receiving care,” Prem Reddy, MD, Prime’s chairman, president and CEO, said in the release.
