The payer tapped 14-year veteran Caraline Coats as its South Florida Medicare market lead, according to a Nov. 30 news release.
Ms. Coats is currently also serving as interim CEO of the Humana Foundation, the insurer’s philanthropic arm. She also previously served as vice president of provider alliance and vice president of Humana’s Bold Goal and population health strategy.
Humana also named CarePlus Health Plans leader Steven Ruiz as Central and North Florida Medicare president.
