Oscar inks deal with Sanford Health Plan

Oscar Health reached a new multiyear agreement with Sanford Health Plan to drive member engagement through its +Oscar technology platform.

The company announced its partnership with Sioux Falls. S.D.-based Sanford Health Plan in its third quarter earnings report published Nov. 7. 

Oscar CEO Mark Bertolini told investors on a Nov. 7 call the partnership will use Oscar’s patient engagement technology, Campaign Builder, to improve member growth and retention, appropriate use of primary care and engagement, and adherence to clinical programs. 

“Our Sanford Health plan partnership demonstrates the growth potential of +Oscar. After just one year of offering Campaign Builder to third parties, we have grown to serve 500,000 lives,” Mr. Bertolini said. 

Sanford Health Plan is affiliated with Sanford Health and has over 220,000 members.
