Oscar Health introduces new plans for 2025: 3 notes

Oscar Health is rolling out new plans for 2025.

The insurer will offer individual plans in 504 markets in 18 states, according to an Oct. 21 news release. Oscar will add new markets in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia and New Jersey in 2025.

The insurer will be in slightly fewer counties in 2025 than in 2024, when it was available in 512 counties across its 18-state footprint.

Here are three things to know:

  1. In 2025, Oscar will introduce Buena Salud, a Spanish-first plan for Hispanic and Latino members. Nearly one-third of Oscar's members are Hispanic or Latino, according to the news release.
  2. The company will launch a multi-condition plan for members with diabetes, pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases. The plan includes cardiologist, pulmonologist and endocrinologist visits without copays.
  3. Oscar will launch an HMO plan in 2025. The plan includes virtual urgent care and medications without copays.

Oscar has around 1.6 million members in individual and family plans.
